| To base your life on reality is what life is all about. This wisdom of our elders so well knew. Those that have dealt with life before us have paraphrases the bible and several philosophers. Sadly, reality is not so easy to find in this world that is traveling though time and space. There are so many philosophies, religions, Science, Hype, drugs, movies, parties, money, schools, theories and so on. All claiming to be Truth or reality. Do we follow the beer commercial says, "Go for the Gusto. Go for Life!" or do we follow Budda or become a Monk. How is one going to tell what is reality and what is not. Is it not relative anyway? Does it really matter that much? |
Think of all the money and lives lost when people have bet their life on a Lie. IN the 1920's thousand of people morgaged all they had to buy the promise of future riches in the stock market. Suddenly, came black tuesday and people were jumping out of buildings, the suicide rate has never been higher! Think of all the dead because Germans gave their lives to the lies of Hitler and the Japanese to the Emperor. Consider now, even today, all the Iraqi and American lives lost to the falsehood of WMD, Weapons of mass destruction. I dare say that the very destruction of the world will not come because of WMD but becasue of a LIE! |
| Do not just look away and ask "What is Truth?". This is exactly what Piliate did when confronted with Jesus, the Christ. Do not let your ego and pride or anythng keep you from living in reality. Reality may be cold, it may be painfull and it is most definitely scary but it is the truth. "The Truth" said Jesus, "shall set you free"! So please be a seeker of Truth. |
