1Cor 2: 7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: 8 Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.Under the very nose of the great leaders and peoples of the world there has been a secret WAR. A WAR thoughout the ages that has claimed billions of lives and has been responsible for holocausts, genocide, torture, rape, murder and the rest. A war who’s battle ground is the heart of men and women and nations. In literature it is simply known as the WAR between good and evil. Written as though it had no beginning and no end and Good usually triumphs of evil. Sadly, once again, the world has eyes but does not see.
(Mat 13:15 KJV) For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them. (Mat 13:16 KJV) But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.
God records for us the very beginning of evil!
Ezek 28:11-19 (KJV) Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, 12 Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty. 13 Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created. 14 Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. 15 Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee. 16 By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire. 17 Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee. 18 Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffic; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee. 19 All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terror, and never shalt thou be any more.Lucifer the morning star, one of God's greatest creations(v13,14), did corrupt himself because of his beauty and bightness(v17) and iniquity was found in him(v15) and he became the enemy of God. Then and there began a WAR between the kingdom of God versus the kingdom of Satan. .Every day and every minute is a clash between the great Wills. Whose WAY will rule.Ever since Satan declared war, the earth has been the scene of continuous battles resulting in Holocausts, blood baths, world wars and genocide. The Bible records the declaration and start of this great war:
Isa 14:12-16 (KJV) How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! 13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: 14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. 15 Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit. 16 They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms;Satan declares war, "I will exalt my throne above...."(Vs 13 ) . Ever since that fateful moment Lucifer the Son of the Morning Star the second greatest creature became Satan, the advisory, seeking to capture, destroy or kill the Kingdom of God and "become like the most High"(v14). Through deceit and lies he tempts mankind to join his rebellion. Thought pleasure in sin he seeks to trap us into following his ways. He seeks anyone who will follow his promises of ultimate pleasure, riches and power if they will follow him or his way. Death, destruction, pain and hardship follows as it always will when any man surrenders his will . Adolf Hitler, Pol Pox, Ide Admin, Sadam are all modern day examples or manifestations of the Great War. Yet domestic violence or fraud are battles just as important.
Eph 6:12 (KJV) For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.Great spiritual powers are out to win our hearts and souls. Whether we know it or not, our decision are based on their principles and philosophies and reflect our belief in them. These two ways of Good and Evil permeate our lives. This dictates how we will react to the events of our lives. Like unwilling draftees we will prove to all the Spiritual and physical realm that the Great Love of God or the vileness and evil of the ways of Satan. Meanwhile, bombs and bullets are fired by human hands, as are the acts of mercy, Love and charity.
Few people and virtually no country realize they are soldiers in a Secret War. They do not see the enemy or his weapons. They are not aware of any threat. Yet their daughters and their sons and fathers and mothers fall victim every day. We stand aghast as serial killer after serial killer litter the news with bodies. We are horrified and scared as our children kill each other in schools. Drugs fry the brains of the unwary teenagers and abortions traumatizes their lives. Yet that is only a part of the destruction the father of lies and his kingdom have caused. (come to kill steal and destroy)
Wake up my friend! You cannot fight an enemy with your eyes closed and your hands tied. The enemy is among us. Not unlike NAZI Germany, he has used lies and our own weakness to set us on a path to destruction. We laugh, because NAZI Germany is gone and wonder how a people could believe in such a farce. Satan, however, is more powerful and clever than a million Hitlers. In fact, he has used a form of Germ warfare to infect or souls with a disease called SIN.
SIN, rebellion against God and his way, is age old and at the core of all human problems. Lying, cheating divorce, murder, robbing, adultery, and all the like can be traced to the Genesis. account of Satan (the serpent) destroying Paradise for Man. Yes, man and woman are made in the very image of God with His capacity to create, love, care and think. With an innocence of mind and spirit, man and woman lived in paradise.
Sadly, they were infected with the knowledge of evil. A change that diseased their souls and forever changed the way they could live. A change that made mankind a possible ally of the rebellion.

Gen 3:1-6 (KJV) Now the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? 2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: 3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. 4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: 5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. 6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.We all know the story. We can debate for eons the reality of the story but we cannot debate the application. Satan made mankind aware of his kingdom. The forbidden pleasures that are pleasant to the eye(v5) and lusts and ways of thinking that are not based on love but on self indulgence to be like Gods.(v5) Indeed, we were now intelligent like Gods, knowing both good and evil. ( )
In a way only God knows, though disobedience and by eating the fruit or the tree of Good and Evil the very DNA of our souls became infected with sin. We became and are infected with the disease of desire to please ones self. The desire to be as God, free from rules and regulations. A disease that will destroy a person and everything around him. It has done so with Satan and it will do so with us. We had become and still are potential allies with Satan. We, and indeed the whole earth , became pawns or soldiers in the Great WAR! ( )
The whole of history, past, present and future, are but a great complex demonstration that
God’s ways of Love are greater than Satan's ways of hate and power. Satan declared "My ways
are greater than your Ways O’ God." The challenge was made . The gauntlet thrown down.
God is equal to the challenge and has and will show to all and forever that Satan's ways always
lead to destruction and death while God’s ways lead to life and Joy. This is the message and
mystery of human history. This is the message and mystery of life.
